Keeping Fit and Staying Sane

On Wednesday, January 23rd, I had the pleasure of participating in a panel discussion on Keeping Fit and Staying Sane: Artist Health and Wellness as part of the Making Connections series at Opera America. Singer and yoga instructor Megan Young moderated a panel that included performance psychologist Noa Kageyama, Alexander Technique teacher Lori Schiff, and mezzo-soprano and winner of season 11 of NBC’s The Biggest Loser Olivia Ward. Here's the video of our conversation.

Topics ranged from sustainging your fitness regimen on the road to new insights into willpower and strategies for long-term change.

I'm very grateful for the opportunity to chat with such knowledgeable people about one of my favorite subjects and to Opera America for making our discussion available online. Please have a look and keep the conversation going by sharing your advice on physical and psychological wellness in the comments section.
